Node One will not turn on
- Confirm the supplied power connection is seated at Node One and the wall.
- Test the wall outlet with another low-risk device.
- Disconnect power for 30 seconds, then reconnect it once.
- If the Node One splash never appears, contact support and describe any lights or sounds you observe.
Node One cannot join my Wi-Fi
- Wait for the Node setup network to return after a failed join.
- Choose the network again from the live scan and carefully re-enter the password.
- Move the unit closer to the access point for setup if the signal is weak.
- Use Ethernet as a temporary fallback when a cable is available.
A device says Stopped answering
- Check that the equipment still has power.
- Confirm the device and Node One are still on the same local network where required.
- Open the manufacturer's app or local page to see whether the device itself is reachable.
- Restart Node One safely only after checking device power and network.
A reading is Outside its range
- Treat the alert as a reason to inspect the tank, not as an automatic diagnosis.
- Confirm the sensor or test method is working correctly.
- Independently verify a surprising chemistry value before making a large correction.
- Use the reading page and recent history to see whether the change was sudden or gradual.
The dashboard shows Ready for equipment
- Open Add Equipment and wait for discovery.
- Confirm the equipment is powered and on the same network.
- Use the integration page for the exact supported connection path.
- Remember that network discovery alone does not prove compatibility.
The screen says the box stopped answering
- Wait a minute for a short startup or maintenance interruption.
- Check the Node One power connection.
- From another device on the local network, try opening the Node One dashboard.
- If the local dashboard is also unavailable, disconnect power only after the screen or dashboard says it is safe, when possible.
Restart Node One safely
- 1
Open the power sheet
Select the power button in the dashboard header.
- 2
Choose Restart
Confirm Restart and wait for the Node One splash and dashboard to return.
Readings stopped updating in Reef Trak
- Confirm Node One still has current local readings.
- Check Node One internet access. Local monitoring can be healthy while companion sync is waiting.
- Confirm the affected reading was selected in Choose what to monitor.
- Allow queued data time to catch up after the internet returns.
Still having trouble
