Overview
Node One can discover Shelly equipment already on the local network and can guide a factory-fresh device onto your Wi-Fi.
Requirements
- A supported Shelly device.
- Reliable Wi-Fi at the device location.
- The device powered during discovery and setup.
Connect
- 1
Open Add Equipment
Wait for the Shelly row to appear automatically.
- 2
Use the available path
Select the discovered device, or choose Add a Shelly by address when discovery is hidden by the network.
- 3
Follow factory-fresh adoption
If the plug is new, Node One joins its setup signal, teaches it your Wi-Fi, and waits for it to return.
- 4
Name the device
Use a name tied to the reef equipment powered through it.
What Node One can read
- Device availability.
- Power and energy readings exposed by supported Shelly models.
- Other local readings recognized by the current integration.
Control
Node One does not switch Shelly devices. Node OS uses their readings for monitoring and power context.
Troubleshooting
- Use Add a Shelly by address when network discovery is blocked.
- Keep the plug powered through the full narrated adoption.
- Check that Node One and the Shelly are on the same local network after setup.
Remove
Open the Shelly device page, select Remove..., then Tap again to remove.
