Start with the essentials
Node One is the always-on local server and hub for your reef aquarium, not a tablet. Its built-in touchscreen is one way to use the system; behind it, Node OS connects compatible controllers, cameras, smart plugs, feeders, sensors, and automation devices, gathers supported data, stores local history, and runs supported controls.
Use the Node OS dashboard at the tank. When you are away, Reef Trak can carry selected readings and reef history to your phone or browser while Node One keeps working beside the aquarium.
This manual documents behavior verified in the current Node One software. Features still being completed are identified clearly or left out until they are ready.

Node One first
Node One is the local server doing the work beside the aquarium. It has its own software, built-in dashboard, controls, local history, and documentation. Reef Trak is the companion platform that extends selected readings and water-test history beyond the home.
Reef Trak is an optional companion to the core Node One product experience. The current guided setup still uses a one-time pairing code from the Reef Trak app and does not yet offer a skip path. After setup, Node One keeps supported controls, monitoring, history, and alerts running locally when the internet is unavailable.
There is no Node One subscription. You own the appliance and its core local functionality.
