Overview
Node One can connect to a Neptune Apex on the local network and bring supported readings into the Node OS dashboard.
Requirements
- A supported Neptune Apex on the same local network as Node One.
- Apex access available during connection.
- The Apex probes and modules you want to monitor already working in Apex.
Connect

Open Add Equipment
Choose Neptune Apex, then Connect.

Follow the local connection prompt
Complete the Apex access requested by Node One.

Review readings
Confirm that expected probes and outlet states appear before naming and organizing the device.
What Node One can read
- Temperature and pH where present.
- Outlet states.
- Trident readings where the connected Apex provides them.
- Other supported readings exposed by the verified integration path.
Control
Node One does not control Apex outlets or programs. Use Neptune's own tools for Apex control.
Troubleshooting
- Keep Node One and Apex on the same local network.
- Confirm Apex is reachable from another device on that network.
- If readings stop, check Alerts for Stopped answering, then restart only after checking power and network cables.
Remove
Open the Apex device page, select Remove..., then Tap again to remove.
