When a supported HomeKit accessory appears in discovery, Node One can offer a setup path using the accessory's 8-digit HomeKit code.
Requirements
- A discoverable HomeKit accessory that is not still paired to another controller.
- The 8-digit HomeKit setup code.
- Node One and the accessory on the same local network where required.
Connect

Reset or unpair it according to the manufacturer's instructions so it can advertise for setup.

Wait for the accessory row to appear, then select Set up.
- 3
Enter the code
Use the 8-digit HomeKit code shown on the accessory, card, or packaging.
- 4
Review what appeared
Confirm the readings Node One received before relying on the accessory.
What Node One can read
Available readings depend on the accessory class. Do not assume every HomeKit service is supported until the exact device class has been verified.
Control
Node One does not control HomeKit accessories.
Troubleshooting
- Make sure the accessory is no longer paired elsewhere.
- Use the manufacturer's reset steps before retrying.
- Keep the setup code nearby and enter all eight digits exactly.
Remove
Open the accessory device page, select Remove..., then Tap again to remove. Reset the accessory before pairing it elsewhere if required by its manufacturer.
