Appearance
The Panther Grouper has a dark brown to black body heavily covered with white to cream-colored spots, becoming more numerous with age. The fish has a robust, stocky body typical of groupers, with a large mouth and rounded fins.
Diet and feeding
Large fish, crustaceans, squid, krill, frozen meaty foods. Will eat smaller fish and invertebrates.

Moderate - Requires large tank and aggressive tank mates. Best suited for intermediate aquarists.
