Appearance
The Leopard Hind is a small grouper with a reddish to orange body densely covered in dark brown or black leopard-like spots. The fish has a stocky, compact body shape typical of groupers, with a moderately large mouth and rounded fins. Juveniles may display slightly more vibrant coloration than adults.
Diet and feeding
Feed small fish, crustacean pieces, and quality frozen meaty foods such as mysis shrimp, bloodworms, and chopped squid. Feed 2–3 times daily, adjusting portions based on appetite and tank bioload.
