Appearance

Deep maroon body with three irregular gold or white vertical bands. Robust build with a relatively large head and terminal mouth. Two pre-opercular spines distinguish this species from other maroon clownfish.

Diet and feeding

Marine algae, zooplankton, brine shrimp, mysid shrimp, small crustaceans, frozen foods (mysis shrimp, brine shrimp), and prepared foods.
