Appearance
Deep maroon to burgundy body with distinctive white-gold spots or bands, particularly prominent along the head and lateral line. Yellow-orange dorsal and tail fins; females typically larger and darker than males.
Diet and feeding
Feed a varied diet of high-quality marine flakes, mysis shrimp, and small chopped seafood. Maroon clownfish are less finicky than some clownfish species and will readily accept prepared foods in captivity. Feed 1–2 times daily.
