Keeper notes

Lays hard white eggs on surfaces but larvae need brackish/saltwater, so it will NOT overrun a freshwater tank. One of the best algae-eating snails, completely plant-safe and tireless on film and diatom algae. Needs hard, alkaline water for shell health and an occasional algae supplement once the tank is clean. Copper sensitive — avoid copper meds. Females lay white eggs that won't hatch in freshwater, so no population explosions.
