Breeds readily in freshwater; deep solid blue line derived from blue velvet stock. A deep, solid royal-blue Neocaridina, the most saturated of the blue morphs. Standard easy care: hard stable neutral water, mature planted tank, biofilm plus shrimp food. Copper sensitive — no copper medications. Color holds best over dark substrate and away from competing color lines.
