• Minimum 20 gallon tank • Prefers well-lit reef conditions with moderate to strong water flow • Temperature range 72–78°F; maintain stable salinity (SG 1.023–1.025) and pH 8.1–8.3 • Grazes on algae, detritus, and biofilm; supplement with algae wafers if food is scarce • Nocturnal grazer; provide rocky structures and crevices for daytime shelter
