Keeper notes

Lays white eggs but larvae need brackish water, so it will not overrun a freshwater tank. A reddish-brown 'onion' shaped nerite valued for color and algae control, fully plant-safe. Care matches other nerites: hard alkaline water for shell health and an algae-rich, mature tank. Copper sensitive — no copper meds. Eggs won't hatch in freshwater, so it cannot overpopulate.
