Keeper notes

Parthenogenetic — a single individual clones itself and can rapidly produce hundreds of offspring with no mate. INVASIVE; illegal to own/sell in the EU and several US states. NEVER release or flush; rehome responsibly only. WARNING: an all-female, self-cloning crayfish that reproduces from a single animal, making it a severe invasive risk and ILLEGAL to keep, sell, or transport in the EU and a number of US states — check local law before acquiring. It is aggressive and predatory, destroying plants and eating fish, shrimp, and snails. Never release or flush one and never dump tank water into the wild; rehome only to legal keepers. Provide a large tank, caves, hard alkaline water, calcium for molting, and a tight lid. Copper sensitive — no copper meds.
