Keeper notes
Lays eggs but larvae need brackish water, so it will not overrun a freshwater tank. A tiny nerite with yellow-and-black shells bearing small horn-like spines. Superb algae eater for nano tanks and completely plant-safe; small size lets it reach tight spots. Needs hard alkaline water for shell health. Copper sensitive — avoid copper meds. Eggs won't hatch in freshwater.
