Appearance
Yellowmargin Triggerfish are robust, somewhat compressed fish with a dark gray to brown body and distinctive bright yellow margins on the dorsal and anal fins. They have a large mouth, strong teeth, and a characteristic trigger-like dorsal spine mechanism.
Diet and feeding
Feed a varied carnivorous diet of meaty foods including chopped squid, fish, shrimp, and marine preparations. Supplement with hard-shelled invertebrates like snails and crustaceans to help wear down continuously growing teeth.
