Appearance
The Boomerang Triggerfish has a stocky, compressed body with a distinctive dark coloration, typically brown to gray with crescent-shaped markings resembling boomerangs, and a prominent hump on the head behind the eyes. It features a strong jaw and a moveable dorsal spine characteristic of triggerfish.
Diet and feeding
Feed a varied carnivorous diet of frozen foods including mysis shrimp, krill, squid, and marine fish flesh, as well as quality sinking pellets. Feed 1-2 times daily, adjusting portions to avoid overfeeding and water quality degradation.
