Appearance

Yellowfin Anthias are small, elongated serranids with bright orange-yellow coloration on the body, fins, and face. Males typically display more vivid coloration and longer dorsal fin spines than females, and may develop a distinctive deep red or magenta stripe along the upper flank.

Diet and feeding

Feed a varied diet of high-quality frozen foods including mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and small fish pieces, supplemented with quality micro pellet foods designed for small reef fish. They are planktivorous feeders that benefit from multiple small feedings throughout the day.
