Appearance
The Araga Basslet is a small, elongated serranid with vibrant red-orange coloration and white or pale spots along the body. It has a compressed body shape typical of deep-water basslets, with slightly enlarged dorsal spines.
Diet and feeding
Feed small meaty foods including high-quality frozen mysis shrimp, frozen copepods, and small frozen pieces of fish or krill. Supplement with live amphipods or copepods when possible. Feed 2–3 times daily in small portions.

Moderate - Requires some experience due to specific dietary water or tank requirements. Best suited for intermediate aquarists.
