Appearance
Holanthias borbonius is a small serranid with a predominantly pink to reddish-orange body coloration. The fish has an elongated, streamlined body shape typical of anthias species, with yellow or orange accent coloring on the fins and along the dorsal surface. Like other Holanthias species, it displays the characteristic anthias profile with a steep forehead and moderately sized mouth.
Diet and feeding
Feed a varied carnivorous diet of high-quality frozen foods including mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and finely chopped marine flesh. Offer small frequent meals appropriate for a planktivorous feeder.
