Appearance

Males are vibrant fuchsia-purple with two bright yellow vertical stripes on the head and body. Females are typically orange-yellow with purple or red coloration. The body is slender and streamlined with a slightly forked tail.

Diet and feeding

Feed high-quality frozen mysis shrimp, copepods, and small zooplankton 2-3 times daily. May accept high-quality flake food as supplementary diet. Target feeding or spot feeding is often necessary in mixed reef aquaria to ensure adequate nutrition.
