Appearance
Males display vibrant orange-red coloration with lighter pink or yellowish dorsal and anal fins, while females are more subdued orange to pale orange. Small, stocky body shape with a terminal mouth adapted for planktivorous feeding.
Diet and feeding
Feed high-quality frozen planktonic foods such as mysis shrimp, copepods, and specialized anthias pellets 2–3 times daily. Supplement with occasional live foods to encourage natural feeding behavior.
