Appearance
A small, elongated anthias with a brilliant orange-red body marked by distinctive bright yellow spots and streaks on the head and body. Males display more intense coloration than females, with elongated dorsal fin rays.
Diet and feeding
Feed small frozen planktonic foods such as mysis shrimp, copepods, and enriched brine shrimp multiple times daily. High-quality flaked foods designed for planktivorous fish are also suitable. Frequent small meals mimic their natural feeding behavior on plankton in the water column.
