Appearance
Yellow-Fin Anthias are small, elongated serranids with a predominantly bright orange-red body. They have distinctive yellow or yellow-orange pectoral and dorsal fin margins, a pointed snout, and sexually dimorphic coloration where males are more intensely colored than females.
Diet and feeding
Feed high-quality frozen carnivore foods including mysis shrimp, copepods, and small pellets formulated for planktivores. Offer meaty foods 3–4 times daily in small portions to match their natural feeding behavior as planktivorous reef dwellers.
