Appearance
The Yellow-Fin Angelfish is a small, laterally compressed pomacanthid with a dark blue to purple body. It is distinguished by bright yellow coloration on the pectoral fins and a yellow bar across the gill cover, giving rise to its common name. The body is rounded with a small mouth suited to foraging on sponges and tunicates.
