Appearance
A small, slender basslet with three distinctive dark horizontal stripes running the length of its body. Coloration varies from reddish-orange to purple-tinged with a white or pale belly; the three lines contrast sharply against the body.
Diet and feeding
Feed small live or frozen zooplankton, copepods, mysis shrimp, and small prepared foods. Feed 2–3 times daily. The Three-Lined Basslet is a planktivore in the wild and prefers frequent small meals over large portions.

Moderate - Requires some experience due to specific dietary water or tank requirements. Best suited for intermediate aquarists.
