Appearance
Pseudanthias pleurotaenia displays a red to orange body with distinctive white or pale spots arranged in rows along the flanks, giving rise to its common name. Males are typically brighter and more intensely colored than females, and the species shows sexual dimorphism in fin morphology.
Diet and feeding
Feed high-quality frozen zooplankton (copepods, mysis shrimp, krill), high-protein flake, and prepared planktivore pellets 2–3 times daily. Soaking foods briefly before feeding aids ingestion and water quality.
