Appearance

Greenish-brown to tan body with numerous small dark spots covering the head and body; distinctive elongated snout and strong teeth typical of triggerfish, with a moderately compressed body shape.

Diet and feeding

Feed a varied carnivorous diet of meaty foods including mysis shrimp, krill, squid, and quality marine flake or pellet formulations. Offer food 1–2 times daily in captivity.
