Appearance
A vibrant medium-sized angelfish with a bright yellow-orange body and distinctive dark vertical stripes that become more pronounced with age. Juveniles display bright blue rings and markings, which fade as the fish matures into a predominantly yellow-orange adult with bold dark bands.

Marine algae, coral polyps, zooanthellae, sponges, sea anemones, bristle worms, herbivorous fish eggs, foraminiferans, copepods, and marine invertebrates
