Appearance

The Bluering Angelfish is a large, disc-shaped angelfish with predominantly yellow coloration on the body and head. A distinctive bright blue ring encircles the eye, and blue vertical bands or stripes appear on the gill covers and flanks, giving the species its common name.

Diet and feeding

In captivity, provide a varied diet including high-quality angelfish pellets, frozen mysis shrimp, chopped squid, and vegetable matter such as nori seaweed. Feed 2–3 times daily, offering portions that can be consumed in 2–3 minutes.
