Appearance

Bright yellow body with vertical blue stripes running from dorsal to anal fin, and a distinctive dark blue or black head and gill covers. Adults develop an elegant, laterally compressed body shape characteristic of Pomacanthus angelfish.

Diet and feeding

Feed a varied diet of high-quality flake foods, pellets, and frozen foods including mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and spirulina-based preparations. Offer vegetable matter such as nori seaweed or macroalgae several times weekly to support digestive health.
