Appearance
Seaver's Anthias is a small, elongated fish displaying vibrant coloration: bright orange to red body with distinctive blue or purple vertical streaks or bars along the sides. Males are more intensely colored and may display longer dorsal spines than females.
Diet and feeding
In captivity, feed high-quality meaty foods including frozen mysis shrimp, copepods, small crustaceans, and quality marine flake or pellet foods formulated for small carnivorous fish. Feed 2-3 times daily in small amounts.
