Appearance
A small, elongated basslet with a deep rose or magenta coloration throughout the body. The Rose Basslet has a somewhat compressed profile with a pointed snout and displays subtle orange or yellow markings on the fins, particularly visible on the dorsal and caudal fins.
Diet and feeding
Feed small, meaty foods such as finely chopped frozen shrimp, copepods, and small frozen preparations designed for small carnivorous fish. May also accept small live foods; target feeding can help ensure adequate nutrition in community tanks.
