Appearance

A strikingly colorful small anthias with a brilliant red-orange body, yellow dorsal and anal fin margins, and distinctive purple-red coloration on the head and gill covers. Males are more vibrant than females and possess elongated dorsal spine rays.

Diet and feeding

Feed high-quality foods including frozen mysis shrimp, copepods, and prepared zooplankton formulas. Offer small portions 2–3 times daily to match their natural planktivorous feeding behavior in the wild.
