Appearance
The Queen Angelfish is a large, vibrant fish with a predominantly yellow body, blue facial markings, and blue-edged fins. It features a distinctive blue-rimmed black spot on the dorsal fin (the "crown"), yellow pectoral fins, and blue striping around the mouth and gill covers. The body is laterally compressed with a disc-like shape typical of pomacanthids.
Diet and feeding
Feed a varied omnivorous diet including high-quality marine flakes, frozen foods (mysis shrimp, brine shrimp), and vegetable matter such as spirulina, nori, and blanched vegetables. Feed 2-3 times daily in smaller amounts to maintain water quality.
