Appearance

Lamarck's Angelfish displays striking yellow coloration on the head and upper body, transitioning to blue-gray on the lower body and tail. The dorsal and anal fins are bright yellow with blue edges, and the pectoral fins are translucent to pale yellow. Sexually dimorphic adults show subtle differences in patterning.

Diet and feeding

Feed a varied diet of high-quality angelfish flakes, mysis shrimp, spirulina-based foods, and occasionally finely chopped vegetables. Offer food 2–3 times daily in small portions to maintain water quality.
