Appearance
Potter's Angelfish is a small, deep-bodied member of the pomacanthid family with striking yellow-orange coloration on the head and body, accented by dark brown or black vertical bands and blue-edged gill covers. The dorsal and anal fins are elongated, and fine vertical striping is visible across the body. Adults rarely exceed 3.5 inches in length.
Diet and feeding
In captivity, feed a combination of high-quality pellets formulated for angelfish, frozen mysis shrimp, and vegetable matter such as spirulina. Small frequent feedings support the fish's nocturnal feeding behavior.
