Appearance

Pale Basslets are small, elongated fish with a pale pinkish-white body and faint longitudinal stripes. They have a slightly compressed body profile and small mouth typical of the genus Liopropoma.

Diet and feeding

Feed small frozen foods such as copepods, amphipods, mysis shrimp, and finely chopped seafood. They prefer frequent small meals and may require live prey initially to trigger feeding response.
