Appearance

The Orange-Face Angelfish is a medium-sized pomacanthid with a distinctive orange-to-yellow coloration on the head and face, contrasting with a dark blue or black body. The dorsal and anal fins display bright orange or yellow banding, and the pectoral fins are translucent. Adults develop a more intensely colored orange face as they mature.
