Appearance
The Indian Triggerfish has a dark gray to blackish body with distinctive blue-ringed eyes and blue coloration around the lips and along the gill cover. The body is robust and laterally compressed, with a prominent dorsal trigger spine and a more relaxed second dorsal fin.
Diet and feeding
Feed a varied diet of meaty foods including frozen mysis shrimp, chopped squid, krill, and small fish pieces. Offer quality marine flakes or pellets supplemented with whole prey items to ensure balanced nutrition and trigger natural feeding behavior.
