Appearance
Bright orange-red body with white or pale markings on the head and dorsal fin. Males typically display more vibrant coloration than females; body is streamlined and moderately compressed.
Diet and feeding
Feed small frozen foods such as mysis shrimp, copepods, and quality plankton substitutes 2–3 times daily. May accept quality pellets but prefer live or frozen zooplankton.
