Appearance
The Halfmoon Triggerfish is identified by its pale yellow to tan body with black reticulated markings forming a net-like pattern across the head and body. The dorsal and anal fins are distinctly rounded and often display yellow edges, and the caudal fin is lunate (crescent-shaped), giving the species its common name.
