Appearance
Gray Angelfish are gray to dark gray with pale edging on dorsal and anal fin rays, and a distinctive dark stripe through the eye. Juveniles show more yellow coloration on the pectoral and dorsal fins. The body is tall, laterally compressed, and disc-shaped with a small mouth.
Diet and feeding
Marine algae, coral polyps, zooxanthellae, bristleworms, shrimp, bivalves, small fish (such as damselfish and gobies), sea urchins, and various invertebrates.
Difficulty and care for the Gray Angelfish
Moderate - Requires some experience due to specific dietary water or tank requirements. Best suited for intermediate aquarists.
