Appearance
The Elongate Anthias is a slender, streamlined fish with orange-red coloration on the head and body, often displaying lighter vertical stripes or bands. Males typically show more vivid coloration and elongated dorsal fin rays, while females are generally smaller and less brightly colored.
Diet and feeding
In captivity, feed high-quality frozen foods such as mysis shrimp, copepods, and enriched brine shrimp 2–3 times daily. Small pellets and finely-chopped preparations also work well. Target feeding toward the water column where they naturally feed.

Moderate - Requires some experience due to specific dietary water or tank requirements. Best suited for intermediate aquarists.
