Appearance
Earle's Anthias is a small, slender fish with vibrant coloration: males display bright red-orange bodies with yellow highlights and distinctive ventral fin extensions, while females are more yellow-orange overall. Both sexes have a characteristic small, pointed snout.
Diet and feeding
In captivity, feed high-quality small foods including mysis shrimp, copepods, small krill, and quality flaked foods designed for small planktivores. Feed 2-3 times daily in small portions, as they are obligate planktivores that feed on zooplankton in the wild.
