Appearance
A small, cryptic basslet with reddish-orange coloration punctuated by numerous white or pale spots throughout the body. The head is proportionally large, and the fish has a somewhat compressed body shape adapted for life in rocky crevices and caves.
Diet and feeding
Feed small frozen foods such as mysis shrimp, copepods, and small meaty preparations twice daily. Live copepod cultures will also be eagerly consumed. Provide varied diet to maintain health and coloration.

Moderate - Requires some experience due to specific dietary water or tank requirements. Best suited for intermediate aquarists.
