Appearance

Small, slender anthias with vibrant magenta-pink coloration on the body and upper head. Males display an elongated dorsal fin with distinctive spiny rays, and yellow accents on the fins and gill covers; females are generally more uniformly pink with less pronounced fin extensions.

Diet and feeding

In captivity, feed small planktonic foods: frozen mysis shrimp, frozen copepods, and high-quality flake or pellet formulations designed for planktivorous fish. Feed 2-3 times daily in small portions to match natural feeding behavior.
