Appearance

The Blue Parrotfish is predominantly blue-green with a characteristic parrot-like mouth and robust body. Adults display vibrant turquoise-blue coloration on the head and body, with the caudal fin often showing yellow or orange hues.

Diet and feeding

Zooplankton, marine algae, small crustaceans, mollusks, and coral polyps in the wild. In aquariums: brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, krill, and seaweed.
