Appearance
The Australian Dottyback is a small, elongated fish with a deep blue to purple body and bright yellow-orange coloration on the head, dorsal fin, and anal fin. The body displays a distinctive bicolor pattern with a sharp demarcation between the dorsal blue-purple and ventral yellow-orange zones.
Diet and feeding
Feed high-quality frozen foods such as mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and small frozen fish. Supplement with quality flake or pellet foods formulated for small carnivorous fish. Feed twice daily in small quantities.
