Diet and feeding

Heterotrophic feeder; consumes small fish, crustaceans, and zooplankton. Benefits from regular target feeding of mysis shrimp or small pieces of marine flesh 2-3 times weekly.

Indo-Pacific from the Red Sea to the Great Barrier Reef, typically in reef environments.
